Hyatt Place Phoenix / Downtown

Very nice hotel for a quick stay! Room was spacious and AC was perfect. Free breakfast as a Discoverist was nice. Only complaint was the water pressure, but not a big deal. Would stay again next time I find myself in PHX.

Great location to the arena and restaurants. Room was very clean looking and smelling. Entire hotel was clean. Staff was super friendly our entire stay. Buffet breakfast was much better than typical hotels.

The family and I visited from vegas for an event that the kids were attending. Was able to check in 4 hrs before check in and our stay for a few days was like a home away from home. The rooms were clean and the employees were nice. Satisfied on how the shops and restaurants are nearby (walking distance) and the view of the area at night time was calming. Thank you for the hospitality downtown phoenix we'll definitely be back.

Overall, a very clean hotel that I would recommend. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Had breakfast downstairs a couple of mornings and it was clean, well stocked, and offered a variety of good options. Hotel is in the perfect location to get to any destination in Phoenix. Don't let the other reviews complaining about self parking fool you, it was only a block away and very easy and convenient to get to and back. I would stay here again!

Michael at the Hyatt: An Absolute Rock Star! I conduct all of my regular business training sessions at the Hyatt, and the primary reason I choose this location is the unparalleled customer service provided by Michael. Michael is an absolute rock star and makes my life as a trainer incredibly easy. From ensuring the room setup is perfect to proactively anticipating my needs, his service is consistently top-notch. He always has a genuine smile and goes out of his way to make both me and my training attendees feel genuinely welcomed. It’s clear that Michael takes immense pride in his work, and his friendly demeanor turns what could be a stressful logistical day into a seamless and positive experience. He is a huge asset to the Hyatt team, and five stars simply aren't enough to capture his excellence!

Great convenient downtown location. Walkable area. Clean nice room. There is a charge to either self park or valet, if you have a car. The restaurant had good food with vegetarian options and a nice bar. Would stay again!

Nice sized rooms. Everything was clean. Like most hotels in the west they do not have body wash or shampoo so make sure you bring yours. Good location in downtown but far enough from ASU to not be super loud and crowded but short walk and you're there

Great hotel and really represents what a Hyatt Place could and should be in the Hyatt portfolio. The hotel location is great, rooms are clean airy and relatively quiet (no sound between rooms but as expected some bleed through from the hallways, quiet at night though!) Great bar/resteraunt. Front office staff is efficient and easy to deal with. Some have complained about their dry/"cool" attitudes but I didn't experience that, everyone was friendly and went out of their way to help (grabbing extra waters from the back, or utensils for me. Texting service was quick and warm) unsure if it's because I have status or if that's how they treat everyone. Only con I can think of is the parking is around the corner for self park but is easy enough to deal with - less than a 2min walk. Here looking at apartments for an upcoming relocation, but I'd recommend staying here!
